NWKRTC Deploys Additional 220 Buses for Festive Rush from Hubballi and Other Regions
Hubballi: In view of Dasara festival, the North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) is operating approximately 220 additional special transportation services from Hubballi, Dharwad, Gadag, Belagavi, Uttara Kannada, Haveri, Chikkodi, and Bagalkote, as many citizens will be traveling to their hometowns.
On Friday, October 11, 2024, Mahanavami/Ayudha Puja will be celebrated, followed by Vijayadashami on Saturday, October 12, 2024, and the following Sunday, October 13, 2024. Therefore, additional transportation services will be provided for the increased number of passengers traveling to their hometowns from Bengaluru and other major locations.
Extra special transportation facilities will be available on the night of October 10, 2024, and on October 11, 2024, for those traveling from Bengaluru to various places within the state and to various cities in neighbouring states. After the festival, additional services will also be operated based on passenger demand from major locations on October 13, 2024, and October 14, 2024, and subsequent days.
The NWKRTC has urged passengers to utilize these special transportation services for a comfortable and safe journey and to take advantage of the extra services being provided.
